Mount Pleasant wants to bike safely. For that, we need better connections.
We are a neighborhood group advocating for better bike connections in Mt. Pleasant, Columbia Heights, and surrounding Ward 1 neighborhoods.
We want to make biking safer and more accessible for everyone.
Our Asks
Extending the 15th St Bike Lanes Northbound
The 15th St NW two-way protected bike lane stops at Euclid St. We want to extend these protected lanes to create a safe biking route to Columbia Heights and Mt. Pleasant.
Better East-West Connections
We want safer connections between Mt. Pleasant and Columbia Heights – a place many of us shop, go out for dinner or use the metro.
Additional Bike Improvements
We campaign for further improvements to make cycling more accessible and safer, including addressing unsafe conditions around Rabaut Park.
